Inspiring future careers in operations, trades, and beyond!

The NAWO WA Committee is heading north. We’re excited to bring our When I Grow Up event to Karratha – a region known for its strong operational industries and vibrant community spirit.

This event is all about visibility and possibility. Students from local schools will meet women thriving in operational and trade roles across historically male-oriented industries – right in their own backyard. These role models are breaking stereotypes and showing what’s possible when passion meets opportunity.

Why Karratha?
This region plays a critical role in powering the nation. With a workforce grounded in energy, logistics, and infrastructure, it’s the perfect place to spark meaningful conversations about careers in operations.
