Creating gender‑balanced leadership doesn’t start at the top. It starts much earlier — with who enters operational roles, who is developed, and who is actively sponsored as future leaders.

This NAWO national webinar focuses on Sponsorship & Succession, one of the Nine Dials for Gender Balance. This dial recognises that organisations don’t just need strong talent — they need intentional systems that identify potential, sponsor individuals forward, and build visible pathways from frontline and trade roles into leadership.

In this session, we’ll explore what it takes to develop sustainable, gender‑balanced talent pipelines across operations. From apprenticeships and trade entry points through to supervisory, technical and leadership roles, we’ll examine how sponsorship (not just mentorship) plays a critical role in who progresses — and who is overlooked.
